BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Grayson received a BBA in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia College and State University.  With over 18 years experience in public accounting and industry, he specializes in strategic planning for public and private sector financial institutions with special emphasis in mergers & acquisitions, capitalization, and tax credits. His expertise has also included assisting banks in compliance with SOX 404.  His firm responsibilities include serving as Secretary to the Board of Directors along with being partner in charge of quality control and continuing professional education.

PROFESSIONAL AND CIVIC AFFILIATIONS

Grayson is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).  He has served as President of the local GSCPA chapter, and is an approved Peer Reviewer for the AICPA along with serving on the GSCPA Peer Review Committee.  As a member of the Dublin Civitan Club, Grayson has served as their past president.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia College and State University Accounting Education Alumni Association and the Popular Springs North Baptist Church Finance Committee where he serves as a Sunday School Teacher when needed.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Grayson’s enjoys the time he spends with his family, playing golf and watching college football.  He also volunteers with the children’s church as well helping his wife with her baby specialty store.   Grayson and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children, Megan, Gabriel and Michael.
