BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Lori is a graduate of Georgia College and State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting.  She joined Thigpen, Jones, Seaton & Co in 1998.  As an audit manager with the firm, Lori specializes in the financial institution industry with experience in both the public and private sectors.  In addition to routinely assisting banks with quarterly reporting requirements such as FDIC call reports, 10Ks and 10Qs, she also coordinates and executes internal tests of controls, annual financial statement audits, SOX 404 testing and ACH audits.

PROFESSIONAL AND CIVIC AFFILIATIONS

In order to develop a new market for the firm and provide a much needed service to her clients, Lori received her certification as an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) in 2004.  She is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Lori spends her personal time with her husband Matt and their new puppy, Trixie. 
She takes pleasure from spending time with her friends and family, is an avid
reader, enjoys listening to music and indulging her little known passion - shoes!
